This morning we did a beautiful drive towards Tahune Air Walk. Both sides of the road was beautiful with the different shades of green. The ferns are so big. Drove upto Mt Wellington today. Very narrow and windy road . Good views of Hobart , surrounding towns , mountains ,lakes,Tasman Bridge,and the tower on top of Mt Wellington. It was so windy and cold up there. On our way back took a photo of the large axe at the Longley Hotel

Went to Cockle Creek and what a lovely place with the whale at Cockle Creek which is at the most southerly point to be reached by road in Australia Then back to Ida Bay Railway for the train ride around the bay to get a history lesson Then onto Hastings Cave. drove out to cloudy bay and what a drive to there. They graded the road then wet and the is in need of a good wash. Then drove to the beautiful lighthouse which was built in 1836 Saw some beautiful cliffs that we saw on our flight.
