Mareeba

Arrived at Mareeba Rodeo Camping Grounds after having a thick fog at Archer Creek. The camping is a very very large area with toilets, showers , water and power for $20 a night. Archer Creek

Left Fletcher Creek and called into Greenvale and saw the Three Rivers Hotel. Saw a bit memorabilia of Slim Dusty. We then headed to the small bar in Queensland Got to Archer Creek for the night. Archer Creek is a free camp with only toilets. Saw a great sunset

Fletcher Creek

After spending the night at Julia Creek we left and drive through towns like Richmond ,Hughenden and Prairie till we got to Charters Towers where we did some shopping. Mary Kathleen

After leaving Dajarra we did our shopping at MtIsa and then onto our free camp at Mary Kathleen. Mary Kathleen is approx 60km from east of Mt Isa. Dajarra

Stayed at Dajarra free camp. A very small town north of Boulia. At the camp grounds there is 3 power sites , toilets , showers and water for a donation. The town has a museum and a hotel. Also a small service station Diesel is at a cost of $1.93

Birdsville

WOW what an awesome day we had. Driving along towards Birdsville the flood plains were covered in small yellow flowers and while the Emus were enjoying the waterholes. Bedourie

Stayed for a night a Poddy Creek rest area have driving from Longreach. It is very dry out here in the outback. The roads are very narrow and the country is very flat. Longreach

Here at Longreach. Been here for the last 3 nights. Staying at the Apex Riverside Park. There is toilets but no showers but there is showers for a donation at the Information centre.
