Ridgley,Preston and Gunns Plains Caves
Seeing the Guide Falls and Preston Falls show that there has been very little rain in this area recently as there was not alot of water flowing over them. From the falls we then got to Gunns Plains Caves. This cave was very interesting with different shapes.
Drive on the back road from Stanthorpe to Warwick
Left for a beautiful drive. Seeing beautiful countryside, Cheribah resort which was closed. Then onto Leslie Dam back got KFC for lunch then on our way home we called into Connolly Dam. Stopped at Cottonvale to the war memorial which is on the highway
Murals at Stanthorpe
Followed the mural trail around Stanthorpe today where we found 5 murals located in the main street , 3 located around Weeroona Park / Civic Centre area ,4 toilet blocks which includes the toilet block at Storm King Dam and 1 at a resort. Drive to Amiens
Our drive for the day took us to the Legacy Centre at Amiens. A very informative historical place for a small town. Then on to Foxbar Falls. You can camp there whether it is for power or free camping , caravan or tents. There is plenty of space for any kind of camping
Our Drive to Canungra
Saturday 20th June both myself and Johnny went for a drive to Canungra for the day. Seeing fog over the valley at Clintonvale,Gladfield and Tarome.
