Chinchilla Melon Festival Road Trip
Day 1&2 Left for our trip to Chinchilla stopping for 2 nights at Fassifern free camp. The weather is very hot and of course very dry. Had a few campers staying for the night. This is a lovely spot with toilet but no showers.

Baker Creek
At Bakers Creek we stay behind the hotel which is called the General Gordon Hotel which is at Homebush about 20-25km from Mackay. They do have showers which is $10 per couple and toilets. Mulgildie
Stayed here for our next night at the Mulgildie hotel. They have toilets and showers for a price of $4 per person. We also had a beautiful meal and a couple of beers which went down well. Also the sunsets were a great photo shot
Kingaroy
Stayed at the Alwyn Francis Bridge for the night It is a free camp with only toilets. It is just out of Kingaroy. Saw Judy Patti there at her Studio for hair in kingaroy It was nice spot to stay.
