Got to Bamaga after seeing Fruit Bat Falls which were beautiful falls. Crossed the Jardine River. The cost of crossing the river is $100 – $50 each way to be paid a the little office at the river. Yes they have card facilities. The river is not wide at the crossing and it is not very deep. The road was very bad with corrugation but once again the road is being upgraded. Got to Bamaga to find accommodation which we found a nice camping area aling the beach. We stayed in a cabin which was quite reasonably priced. On site there was a fish and chip / pizza shop and was a good place for a sunset.
