Stayed for a night a Poddy Creek rest area have driving from Longreach. It is very dry out here in the outback. The roads are very narrow and the country is very flat. Had a lovely sunset again from our site. The next day drove about 280km to Boulia seeing old cottage in the distance in the middle of no where. If you are passing this way an opportunity to stay at the Hotel Hilton free of charge here is your chance. Got to Boulia which is known for the mysterious MinMin light. The wind got very strong as we left Boulia. Stayed for the night at Georgina river crossing. Got a sunset which i thought would be better because of the dust that came in.
