A great Sunday drive

After picking up my Mum and Dad we headed on a road trip for the day. From Tenterfield we travelled along the Bruxner Highway seeing beautiful country side where they must have had ample rain as everywhere was lovely and green. At Tabulam we stopped for morning tea at a little camp area and saw some wood carvings. Back on the road we found that the scenery had not changed from earlier. We passed through a lovely area that looked like a rain forest with tall trees, beautiful green foliage and huge palms. Driving through small towns like Bonalbo,Urbenville,Woodenbong and Palen Creek we saw huge mountains like Mt Lindesay and Mt Barney. Having lunch at a small park at Rathdowney near this beautiful Jacaranda tree we then turned onto the Falls Road just before Boonah and past Queen Mary Falls to Killarney then onto Stanthorpe. After enjoying a lovely day out which Mum and Dad enjoyed immensely.
